Frequently Asked Questions
Why submit to general web and startup directories?
Foundational web directories (such as Active Search Results DR 78 and Webwiki DR 77) provide baseline crawling velocity and initial backlink volume for brand-new domains.
How do search engines discover new domains through directory listings?
Search engine spiders continuously crawl high-frequency directory update feeds. When your URL appears on verified registries, crawler discovery occurs within 24 to 48 hours.
Does LaunchIndex submit to link farms or low-quality directories?
No. We filter out private blog networks, unmoderated link dumps, and directories with DR under 40. Every listing is reviewed for indexation status and penalty safety.
Is manual submission better than automated submission for web directories?
Manual submission takes 40+ hours of repetitive form entry. LaunchIndex uses headless browser automation and API endpoints to submit the exact same structured data with zero human typos.
